OUR MENTOR STRATEGIES
WHY YOU NEED MENTORSHIP/COACHING
PEER MENTORING
Group training to share experiences, projects, or gain feedback. Our sessions are ran by experts, or writing support groups.
MENTORING PANEL
Our panel consists of 2–5 mentors to advise mentees a few times per year in one setting.
FUNCTIONAL MENTORING
Project-based, where the mentee finds a mentor for a specific skill or defined project such as critical thinking, career advancement, doctoral project proposal development, and manuscript writing.
GROUP MENTORING
This involves 1–3 mentors and a small number of mentees who engage in a flow of conversation to share experiences, ideas, and tips.
MOSAIC MENTORING
A diverse range of individuals of different ranks, ages, genders, races, skills, and experience come together in a nonhierarchical community.
REVERSE MENTORING
This is ideal for helping the older and more experienced mentee learn. Learning more about inclusive workforce and respect the human rights of patients.
INDIVIDUAL TRAINING
This involves 1 on 1 training with mentor and mentee who engage in a flow of conversation to share experiences, ideas, and tips.

Our aim at W.E. Consultants is to enhance mentor support of nurses and nursing students during practice, and practice placements. Our goal is to assist in the advancement of nursing practice and student learning. We believe that coaching can reduce the barriers associated with career advancement for novice and experienced nurses. We also believe that mentoring and coaching will help nursing students from Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) to Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) take responsibility for identifying learning needs and develop the necessary knowledge for passing the NCLEX thru obtaining their DNP. With the ultimate goal of mastering the art and science of nursing care.
